# Content structure

The structure of your content in GitBook is organized through pages, spaces and collections. Pages live inside of spaces, and collections are groups of spaces.

**Permissions**

Anyone with [editor permissions](https://gitbook.com/docs/~/changes/pfQHJq75QY5xMYvctdXP/account-management/member-management/roles) and higher can create pages. People with [creator permissions](https://gitbook.com/docs/~/changes/pfQHJq75QY5xMYvctdXP/account-management/member-management/roles) and higher can create new spaces and collections.
